Starting July 14 through August 6, we are offering something new to the kids that will be moving to the next levels in the 9-10 and 7-8 leagues. We are starting this year on trial basis for boys 9-10 and 7-8 leagues.  Plan is to practice on Tuesday 7PM / Thursday 7PM / Saturday 9AM and games each week on one of those dates. We are trying to limit games to once a week.

 

For the remaining 9s and those 8s moving up, we will offer more instruction in the areas of fielding, throwing, live pitching/batting practice and pitching development.  Main focus is to develop pitchers that are currently 8 & 9 for next season and get the current 8s up to speed on the new level of play.  We will play intra-squad games on Saturdays with some live pitching games.  Coordinators for this Allen Heard and David Hurd.

 

For the remaining 7s in the league and those 6 yr olds moving up, we are trying to continue the 7s development and get those 6 yr old out early to learn the fundamentals of playing in this setting.  If we have enough kids signup, we could just have a league amongst ourselves and play each other.  Coordinator for this league will be Jeff Lewis and other coaches currently in the league.

 

$15 cost per child.  Pays for insurance and cost of the clinics.  All proceeds go for playground improvements.
